Romans 12:1-2 (HCSB)
A Living Sacrifice
Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.

How are we to be transformed by the renewing of our mind if we don’t humble ourselves, like the reading from two days ago, Philippians 2:5-8 asked of us; and if we don’t meditate on the Word, like yesterday’s reading, Philippians 4:8 called us to do? These have all been short passages. Take this opportunity to reread them and come back to Romans 12:1-2. Which area from the two previous days’ passages do you feel need a tune-up so that you can best represent that “Living Sacrifice to God”? So that others see Christ through you? That is a prayer I pray often – that others see Jesus through me. Man, do I fail at that! If you pray that same prayer for yourself, please add me to your list!
