Philippians 3:20-21 (HCSB)
20 but our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. 21 He will transform the body of our humble condition into the likeness of His glorious body, by the power that enables Him to subject everything to Himself.

As a woman battling cancer and lung disease, and a mother of a severely mentally and physically disabled young adult son, I LOVE these verses! People! As a child of God, this is NOT our home! We are just passing through. These bodies of ours, with their imperfections and afflictions, are only temporary. What awaits us in Heaven is more than our mind can comprehend. We are going to have a new body, free of sickness, pain, and disabilities. We will be transformed into the likeness of His glorious body!! Have you transferred your citizenship or are you still seeking earthly pleasures and treasures because you think this is your home?
