Acts 5:27-29 (HCSB)
27 After they brought them in, they had them stand before the Sanhedrin, and the high priest asked, 28 “Didn’t we strictly order you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to bring this man’s blood on us!”
29 But Peter and the apostles replied, “We must obey God rather than men.

Would you have had the courage of the Apostles if you were in the same situation? If faced with prison or death, would you still make the decision to even follow Christ, let alone continue boldly sharing the Gospel with those around you? I would love to think that I would but honestly, I don't know until I'm in that situation. My prayer is that I would grow in my faith and love for my Savior in such a way that I can't help but share with everyone around me, no matter the consequences. How do I get there? By spending time on my knees daily talking to the Lord, reading His word every day in an attempt to get to know Him even better, and to fall even more in love with Him than the day before. That is, when I feel like I won't be able to help myself, I will want to share with everyone around me no matter what others may think of me or the consequences might be, the love of the Lord will just pour out of me to everyone around me.
