Psalm 145:8-13 (HCSB)
8 The Lord is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and great in faithful love.
9 The Lord is good to everyone;
His compassion rests on all He has made.
10 All You have made will thank You, Lord;
the godly will praise You.
11 They will speak of the glory of Your kingdom
and will declare Your might,
12 informing all people of Your mighty acts
and of the glorious splendor of Your kingdom.
13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom;
Your rule is for all generations. The Lord is faithful in all His words and gracious in all His actions.

Today, we read that David is continuing his praise of God because God is not only great, but He expounds upon how good and compassionate He is! Then he goes on to praise God for His Glory! I know we all think about how great and good God is, but have you ever really stopped to think about God’s Glory? His Glory is evident all around us and I don’t know about you, but I miss it all the time! EVERYTHING about God is Glorious and beautiful! Think about the beauty of a snowflake or the beauty of a morning glory flower. How about the colors of a sunset? Or the intricate, glorious workings of our body or the universe and gravity and all of that mind blowing stuff!
God is the awesome orchestrator of ALL things in ALL of the KNOWN universe as well as everything we don’t know! From the smallest particle of a cell to galaxies and everything in between! How often do you praise God for that? If you are like me, not near enough. Take a moment today to pick one glorious thing about God that you’ve never thought of and PRAISE GOD for it! Then have a very blessed day!
