Questions for the Week
1. In chapter 31:9–13, Moses commands the public
reading of Scripture. How consistently are you
engaging with God’s Word? What is one small
change you could make to grow in this area?
2. God calls us to teach our children and others to
know and fear Him. How are you helping the next
generation hear, understand, and love God’s Word?
3. What does your obedience look like when the
outcome isn’t what I hoped for? Moses learned
that even with all his efforts, the people would still
rebel. Are you willing to be faithful even when you
don’t get to see the results? Have you been
placing too much value on outcomes instead of
obedience?
4. Are you preparing others to carry the work forward
after me? God tells Moses to commission Joshua.
Who are you encouraging, mentoring, or pouring
into? Are you clinging to control, or are you faithfully
handing things over?
5. What will your legacy be? Moses didn’t need
monuments—his life spoke for itself. If today were
the end of a chapter in your life, what would you
want to be remembered for? Is that what you’re
building each day?
