Matthew 4:23-25 (HCSB)
Teaching, Preaching, and Healing
23 Jesus was going all over Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. 24 Then the news about Him spread throughout Syria. So they brought to Him all those who were afflicted, those suffering from various diseases and intense pains, the demon-possessed, the epileptics, and the paralytics. And He healed them. 25 Large crowds followed Him from Galilee, Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.

In this set of scriptures, it shows Jesus doing three types of ministry: preaching, teaching, and healing. I think we all know that the priority is spiritual healing (salvation), but it also shows that Jesus was also concerned about our physical well-being as well. We all should be sharing the gospel, but what are other things we can do to show God’s love? Think about the spiritual body and what is your part in it? What is your spiritual strength and are you using it?
